Reading is something I have always loved theres something about picking up a hardback and reading words that an author has put together, I think this is a huge part and I have picked up many books only to put them back down after reading a page due to the way it’s written I find I can’t get deep into all books, everyone writes differently and sometimes words just don’t go into my head and I find myself reading the page again again.
I thought I would do a post on my recommended books as these I have picked up and struggled to put back down.
Below are three John Green books that are some of my favourites, he is an amazing author and many people love his books, the way he writes them always draws me in. Another one of his books I love is ‘The Fault In Our Stars’ which is also a film. ‘Paper Towns’ became a film in 2015 and i believe ‘Looking for Alaska is due to come out as a film this year.
Order of my favourites-
1.Looking for Alaska
3.An Abundance of Katherine’s
These next two books are some more favourites of mine, the first is ‘Love Tanya’ By Tanya Burr the Youtuber, this is all about Beauty, Fashion, her Life and some great tips, the second is ‘Butterfly Summer’ which I read back in 2014 but its a much loved book, it’s one I read while on holiday in the summer and its one of those that you can pick back up in a years time and read all over again.
These next two books are both by Zoe Sugg ‘Girl Online’ I watch her youtube videos which she is known as ‘Zoella’ on so it’s lovely to be able to put a face and personality to a story, its something she completely made up herself, and normally people do autobiography so I think its great she’s writing a fictional book, I absolutely loved the first one when it came out late 2014 so had to buy the second which came out around October 2015, the story carries on which is great and parts of it is related to her own life. Im still currently reading the second but just over half way through it and defiantly enjoying it.
Another book I’m currently reading is ‘Fangirl’ by Rainbow Rowell, I’ve been reading this book for a long time for some reason its taking a long time to finish, although it is quite thick and longer than most books it’s an easy read and a great book to get stuck into.
Next on my list to read are these three, I’ve had them for a while but haven’t got around to reading them yet, going to finish my other two first then start these, they are popular and a lot of people say they are great!
- Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell
- Will Grayson, Will Grayson by John Green
- All The Bright Places by Jennifer Niven
