Happy 5th Birthday Glossy Box!! | August

Good evening! You are finally hearing about what I received in this months Glossy Box! August is now over (don’t get me started on how it’s September already!) and this months box was full of very exciting bits so let’s get straight into it..

I’m going to start with my two favourites!

Eyeshadow Palette by MUA £4 – Now I would of never even picked this up in the shop just because when a palette is £4 you know all you’re going to get is shades that aren’t pigmented and don’t last all day! So I was quite happy when I received this in this months box just because it gave me the opportunity to try a palette I wouldn’t normally pick up. I have used MUA’s lipsticks before which I was pretty happy with so I know of the company. I must say I am happy with this palette for one it’s size is perfect, you have enough shades to work with and it’s very small so easy to slip into your hand bag or makeup bag. It’s an easy grab and go palette and comes with a sponge eye shadow applicator.

Mini Monogram Pochette By RAE FEATHER £20 – It’s Glossy boxes 5th birthday this month and they are celebrating with a customer designed makeup case! Who doesn’t love a good old makeup case? I know I do!! I’m forever changing mine around either because it’s too small to fit everything in or it’s too big to carry around in my hand bag!! Well this one is the perfect size..it’s flat, square and designed especially for GlossyBox!! The MUA palette also slides in nicely! They were very kind to include a discount code for 10% off your first order over at Rae Feather. Use the code FIRST10 at check out! Let me know in the comments what you purchase!

Facial Detox Purifying Recovery Mask by MUDMASKY £53 – I was very surprised at how much this product was worth considering how much I paid for the box! Unfortunately I haven’t got around to trying this Mud Mask but I’ve heard good things about it. It’s formulated using all-natural ingredients and contains no parabens, but still manages to thoroughly detoxify skin as well as refining and tightening pores. They recommend you use it once a week for a healthier complexion! My skin has always been quite good I’ve had break outs here and there but they’ve never lasted long – which I’m very thankful for as I know some people can really suffer with their skin! It’s going to be interesting to see what difference this does make!

Deep Pore Facial Cleansing Brush by SPA TO YOU £6.99 –

I haven’t got around to trying this cleansing brush yet, I’ve actually never used one so it isn’t part of my skin care routine. It is something I’m looking forward to trying to see what difference it makes to my skin! Let me know if you use one and what brand!

Wild Cow Invigorating Body Lotion by COWSHED £20

Again another fab product to receive for the price! I’ve never heard of this brand before and I love receiving products I don’t know much about as it gives me something new to try! You can’t really go wrong with Body Lotion I just pop a little into my bath as I feel you can’t get more uses out of it this way!

This months box was worth over £100 and I only paid £10 for it! I think that’s an amazing deal! Comment below if you are also signed up to Glossy Box and what your thoughts were on this months products!

I’ve been looking around for a monthly box to subscribe too. I still haven’t decided. You definitely got a bargain with this one. I have that MUA palette and I love it; pigmented and affordable too.

    Thanks for sharing.
