On the 25th of May I flew to Alicante in Spain with my boyfriend, my parents, sister and her boyfriend. We spent a gorgeous 7 days relaxing on the beach and spent our evenings sipping cocktails at pretty bars.
I’ve never been to mainland Spain before, I’ve been going to the canary islands nearly every year for the last 5 years so it was nice to change it up and visit Spain its self. Although it’s not much different, everyone speaks Spanish, you get the same foods and everyone has an afternoon siesta! I think Alicante is now top of my favourite places I’ve visited, I completely fell in love with the city and the way of life over there.
This is a smaller beach just outside of Alicante which was closer to our hotel. We went there 2 out of the 7 days we were away. It wasn’t too busy and the waves were calm so we dipped in the sea quite often.
All the buildings in Alicante were gorgeous! I’m still not over it now how pretty they were and well built. A lot of work and detail went into them. I was incredibly happy with a couple of the shots I captured.
This stunning ship was sat at the side of the port. Unfortunately it wasn’t open but there looked to be a restaurant on the top deck so we were gutted we didn’t get to try that out!
Dom took the photo above and it’s my favourite shot because it’s very natural and the colours came out so beautiful and bright.
I jumped on the band wagon and picked up a giant pink flamingo for the trip!
I hope you enjoyed seeing what I captured in Alicante, I’ll have a few more posts up in the next few days as I have a lot of photos I want to share on my blog!
This was definitely my favourite holiday I’ve ever been on, whats yours?
