Christmas party invitations

Now it’s November Christmas really doesn’t seem like far away! Its pretty much on my mind all day everyday and this year I’m trying to be organised and get my shopping done early. Nothing is worse than being unorganised and still shopping for gifts Christmas Eve!

Christmas can be stressful on its own, let alone planning a party along side all the other hustle and bustle going on. Basic Invite recently got in touch about Christmas party invitations and I jumped at the chance to be able to start writing Christmas content in November! So if you’re planning a work party this year and need some employee holiday party invitation’s or just looking for personalised Christmas cards, this post is definitely for you!

So you’ve got the venue (probably your house), the decorations and the list of guests you’d like to invite…now all you need is party invitations! Basic invite have the loveliest designs ever that your guests will absolutely love. You can either design your own or they already have hundreds of templates set up for you and all you’ve got to do is input your info.

There are over 180 different colour options for each element on the invite with instant previews allowing you to make sure the colours work well together. I definitely think this is a must have for designing, I’ve been on many other websites that let you select the colour for text but doesn’t show a preview. They also have 40 different colour options for their envelopes so instead of going for the usual white you can mix it up and use your favourite colour. Red and green are perfect Christmas colours!

Save the date! Dom & Chlo's Christmas Party invitation

Another great thing they offer is they give you the ability to order a printed sample of their invitation so you can see exactly how it will print and feel the paper quality before you place your final order. Something they do that I’ve never seen on other websites before is their address capturing service. This is incredibly useful if you’re sending out dozens of invites. You simply send a link to your guests via social media, they type their address details in and Basic Invite will save this and print it on the envelope. This is all free of charge and saves you time writing them all out.

White and Green Thank you card, laying flat

You have endless design options with Basic Invite, you can even create foil designs. In gold, silver and rose gold. Raised or flat is your choice. I really enjoyed designing my invites and having a play around with colours and designs. They offer personalised cards for every occasion so I picked up a thank you card and a few holiday cards for family.

What a cute service! The fact that it does all the picking up people’s addresses for you sounds SO handy as that alone would probably put me off even having a party, haha! I absolutely love the designs too, they look so personal and adorable 🙂
