Christmas with Cohorted

December subscription boxes are always a winner and with Cohorted boxes always being full of fab products anyway I wasn’t going to say no to this months edition…

Starting with the best and biggest product in the box is the Emerald City palette by Cargo Cosmetics. I haven’t heard of Cargo until now but I absolutely love discovering new brands and this is a great one to add to my favourites. To receive a large makeup palette in a subscription box is a pretty good deal. It features a range of neutrals, green and gold highlights. Two mattes and a lot of shimmers, I’m quite a fan of shimmers this time of year so this was a perfect pick for myself. It even comes with a brush which is great for travelling. The palette retails at £35 which is the price of a Cohorted box so you’re basically paying for this palette and getting everything else for free.

The Tarte Tartiest Glossy Lip Paint was my least favourite product in the box. It came in the shade ‘Obvi’ which personally is a little too light for me and doesn’t suit my skin tone well. I’m also not a fan of any glossy lip products although this one was a better texture than the usual opaque lip glosses I come across. The colour was thick and applied smoothly. This retails at £21.

One of my all time favourite liquid eyeliners is by Eyeko, I get through them pretty quick so was thrilled to see the skinny edition. The nib is the perfect shape, easy to apply and allows you to create thick or thin lines. The full size version retails at £16. The final product in this box is the Shadow and Light Brow Contour Mousse by Becca Cosmetics, although I’ve never tried anything from Becca I’ve read great reviews about the brand. I’m not a huge brow person, I get them threaded every two weeks and thats about it. I’m quite lucky to have full dark brows that don’t need filling in but it’s always interesting to try new products and see if any work for me. Luckily the brown shade was spot on for me but wouldn’t be for those with lighter brows. I do like the mousse formula and it applies smoothly but the highlight in the duo is pink toned so doesn’t work with my skin tone. This retails at £18.

Decembers Corhorted box was full of products worth £90 for only £35! I’ve tried quite a few subscription boxes and this is by far the best one for your money. Here’s what was featured in Novembers box!

*I was kindly gifted these products by Cohorted but all opinions are my own

I love that palette – so pretty! I love how festive this post is as well. I have been feeling sad that Christmas is over all day so I’ve been bingeing on Christmassy posts like this ? x
