Edge of the Cotswolds

I’ve never appreciated just how close I am to the cotswolds, I’m practically right on the edge and with a 20 minute drive I can find myself in the centre, surrounded by stunning scenery and quaint cottages with impressive brickwork. Myself and a friend took a trip to Broadway a couple of weeks ago and there we explored independent shops and shared the most scrumptious three course meal. I made sure to snap a couple of photos for the gram and thought I’d share a few on here as well.

I’ve been making a list of all the other parts of the cotswolds I’d like to visit, there are so many villages and towns with a lot of character I’d love to capture this summer. My all time favourite is Bourton-on-the-Water, if you’re ever in the area I’d really recommend stopping by, it’s a gorgeous small town with a stream running down the middle. My family used to visit a lot with friends when we were younger and would often have picnics and paddle in the water in our underwear (just the kids not the parents). What I would do to go back to being young and so carefree.

I live really close to the Cotswolds too. I love Burton on the water, I’ve spent many happy Christmas there watching the lights be turned on! These are such beautiful photos
